This is a fruit driven wine designed to be without pretentions and easy to drink. It succeeds - it is very approachable and full of fruit both on the nose and in the mouth. It is packed full of berry fruit particularly bramble, raspberry, mulberry with extra dark plums and hints of spice, olive and bay leaf. It is well balanced and has a lovely freshness.
