Vin de Pays des Coteaux du Libron
The winemaker says that this is his "Everyday Wine", but it offers much more than that. It is ruby coloured, highlighted by plenty of flecks of youthful purple and it has an aroma of much dark plum, high toned berry and forest fruits, with a streak of sweet spice and smoke adding interest. The flavours are mainly composed of red fruits and red plums, with the sweet spice and smoke adding complexity and interest as they come through more towards the finish. The tannins are soft and ripe, and overall the wine has a lovely balance.
