Cuvee Classique

L'Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup
Cuvee Classique, 2006

AOC Pic-Saint-Loup

This lovely Syrah/Grenache dominated blend has a lovely ruby colour, and a complex nose of red and other fruits, including cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, and much interesting spice like nutmeg, liquorice and wild herbs. The palate begins with an attack of complex fruit, with the spices coming through in the mid-palate and on the long finish. The tannins are ripe and fine grained. This is the benchmark for any aspiring entry level Pic-Saint-Loup.

This wine is now all sold. The 2007 vintage will be here soon, the first news of its arrival will be in one of our newsletters.
