This Gamay is packed with vibrant re berry and cherry aromas and flavours, with a touch of spice on the length adding interest. This is classic Gamay, fresh, fruity and very easy to drink.

Maturity: Drink now to 2010 while the vibrant fruit is at its peak

Food: Drink slightly chilled as an aperitif, with river fish or lighter vegetarian food

Variety: 100% Gamay

Vinification:

Hand picked bunches of grapes vinified using semi-carbonic maceration
Aged in cuve and bottled early to retain freshness and fruit.

Wine retains the clear gamay grape character, red fruits - cherry, with a hint of spice, soft low tannins with good aroma/palate character and a touch more body than you might expect, not as light as beaujolias.
