A varietal Chardonnay with much character. This wine is full of well rounded tropical and citrus flavours. It also has a lovely balance.

Domaine des 1000 Roses, Rosé 2008, Vin du Pays des Coteaux du Libron A lovely deep rosé with much red cherry and berry aroma and flavour. It is a lovely aperitf, but even better with food. Chateau d’Exindre la Magdelaine, Mas d’Exindre Rosé 2008 Vin du Pays des collines de la Moure A lovely pale coloured rose with lots of strawberry and raspberry fruit aromas and flavours with an additional touch of cream and spice in the mouth. Domaine du Grangeon Gamay 2007 Vin du Pays des Coteaux de l'Ardeche
This Gamay is packed with vibrant red berry and cherry aromas and flavours, with a touch of spice on the length adding interest. This is classic Gamay, fresh, fruity and very easy to drink. Le Chemin des Reves, L'Exuberant 2006, AOC Coteaux du Languedoc This Grenache and Syrah dominated wine is full of berry fruit and sweet spice flavours and aromas. It has great balance and is developping well.
Chateau de Raissac Pinot Noir 2007 Vin du Pays d’Oc
A fascinating wine with vibrant red cherry and red berries aromas and flavours with hints and touches of spice. It is fantastically easy to drink, try it chilled at say 16 degrees and discover that Pinot Noir from Languedoc can be great fun! Full of cherry and plum fruit, with raisins and smoke and still more spice. This wine is well balanced with a lovely freshness and good length. This is benchmark Languedoc Merlot. Domaine Jordy Cuvee Tentation 2007 AOC Coteaux du Languedoc Terases du Larzac A lovely spicy nose that soon reveals plenty of berry fruit and cassis. An interesting Cabernet/Syrah blend. Made for early drinking, but has sufficient quality to age well for a year or two. Lots of cassis and plum fruits, with a backbone of spice and a touch of black olive. Mas d’Agalis, Yo no puedo mas … d’Agalis, Vin de Table Français
A powerful nose of black berry fruits, with complex smoke pepper and spices complemented by a a mouthfull of flavour focussed on berry fruit and spice on the length. The wine has a lovely balance with very fine ripe tannins and a good length. |
