Oeillade 2007

AOC Coteaux du Languedoc

This wine is intended to be drunk on the fruit, and it exudes it on the nose and in the mouth. Smokey dark berry and plum fruit is augmented with black and red berry fruits and a lovely touch of gentle spice – notably sweet oriental spices like mace and nutmeg on the length. The tannins are soft and easy helping to give the wine a lovely balance. This is a fruit focussed wine that is easy to drink, and has sufficient complexity to never fails to keep the drinker’s interest.
