Clos Bagatelle
Veillee d'Automne 2008

A blend of Syrah with Grenache and Mourvedre this wine delivers an impressive and complex mouthful of flavour, with red and black berries, ripe plums, damson, pepper and vanilla spice, a touch of dried herbs and lovely tannins, a long length and super balance. It is a wine that demands a little time, not only is it complex and rich, but it has much hiding behind the initial attack.

Domaine Rouge 2010

This wine is an attractive blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Niellucio, 20% Syrah, It is a bright ruby red colour, with an intense nose and palette of fresh summer fruits, red berries and cherries to the fore, with a lovely touch of summer flowers and a classic Grenache strawberry-and-cherry fruit long. Interesting and full of flavour, with a good balance and nice length.

The domain's entry level red Appellation St Chinian wine, made from Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvedre it has plenty of red berry, plum, blueberry and more fruit flavours, but it is not a fruit bomb, as it has a lovely touch of dark spice and a bit of garrigues herbs. The wine has a good structue, with nce softening tannins, good balance and a nice length.

Galets Rouges 2010

A powerful red wine made from Syrah, Grenache and a little Carignan and Mourvedre, this is full of juicy fruit aromas and flavours with much berry fruit and dark plums to the fore, with interesting forest fruits and a touch of smoky spice to complete things. The wine has a good length and lovely soft tannins. It is powerful and rich, but well contained.

Le Secret des Roses 2007

A startlingly good wine made from 100% Syrah. Full and complex blue, black and purple fruits on the nose and palate with much spice - vanilla, pepper, oriental and sweet spice all noted. The tannins are ripe and silky in texture, and the balance great.

It is a wine with great varietal character, that despite being very full retains complexity, balance and character.
