A lovely wine based on Grenache with Syrah and Carignan, this is a classic Terrasses du Larzac wine. Full of aroma and flavour, it is characterised by complex red berries, alpine strawberries, raspberry, with other darker blue and black fruits behind with lovely spice, notably sweet and oriental spice blends, and notes of dried herbs like bay thyme and oregano. The lovely length (with notes of coffee bean) is complemented by good structure and a lovely balance.

A serious and seriously good high end wine is made mainly from Syrah by one of the very best Terrasses du Larzac producers. This wine has great character with lovely damson, purple and black fruit and blackcurrant flavours. It has a lovely streak of black olive, lovely spice, including black pepper, cardamon and cumin. It has traces of wild herbs and more. The tannins are fine grained, ripe and of top quality. The length lovely and the balance perfect. A wine to relish and treasure.
