Le Secret des Roses 2007

Domaine d'Emile et Rose
Le Secret des Roses 2007

A startlingly good wine made from 100% Syrah. Full and complex blue, black and purple fruits on the nose and palate with much spice - vanilla, pepper, oriental and sweet spice all noted. The tannins are ripe and silky in texture, and the balance great.

It is a wine with great varietal character, that despite being very full retains complexity, balance and character.

Merlot 2010

Domaine d'Emile et Rose
Merlot 2010

A lovely varietal Merlot, this deeply coloured wine is full of complex smoky raisin, fruit and spice aromas. When it is tasted the flavours are equally complex and interesting with raisins, cherry, plum and spicy notes remarked. The good balance, finely grained tannins and lovely length also contribute to make this a benchmark Languedoc Merlot.
