AOC Minervois

This wine has a lovely deep ruby colour, and aromas of deep dark berry fruits, plums, a touch of cassis, vanilla and rich spice. The palette is complex with rich purple fruits, black berries, vanilla, pepper, black olive sweet spice, black pepper and more with some lovely oaky undertones. The tannins are rich, soft and ripe, with a lovley soft texture, and the balance is very good. The finish is very long with red berry fruit and sweet coming through.

Alcohol: 13.5% or 10 units per bottle

Food: fine red meats, Beef Wellington, or a wild mushroom tart
