Bois Moi 2007

This Languedoc blend is a really quaffable wine, with the nose and palate both full of bright berry fruit, notably raspberry, mulberry, and bramble. Will be great for outdoor eating.

Domaine Jordy
Tentation 2007

The top wine of the domain is Syrah based and aged in old oak barrels. Deep in colour, it has a lovely spicy nose that soon reveals plenty of berry fruit and cassis. In the mouth it is more fruit dominated, but has all the spice and more with good complexity, a nice freshness and well managed tannins.

L'Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup
Cuvee Sainte Agnes Rouge, 2006

Recognised as one of the best non-micro-cuvée red wines from the Pic-Saint-Loup, the Cuvée Sainte Agnès Rouge is deeply coloured and has a nose of blackcurrant, strawberry, violet and bramble with touches of mocha and much spice. The palate tends more to the fruit before the violet and spice join the choclate and some gravy notes towards an impressive finish.

L'Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup
Cuvee Classique, 2006

The Cuvée Classique is the principal wine of the domain, a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre; it is a wonderful complex mouthful of red fruits, spice and herbs, all balanced by lovely rounded tannins. This elegant wine shows why the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation has become so widely admired.

L'Ermitage du Pic Saint Loup
Guilhem Gaucelm 2005

One of the great icon wines of Languedoc, the Guilhem Gaucelm is made from roughly equal proportions of old vines Grenache and Syrah grown on the southern flank of the Pic Saint Loup mountain. The wine is wonderfully complex with red and dark berry fruits, black olive, black cherry and spice to the fore. This is a superbly balanced masterpiece.

Made in 2007, this is a dark brooding wine with great black fruit flavours and complex smoke and spice flavours made from Syrah and Carignan with a dash of Mourvedre. It has a lovely balance and a good length.
